This is the European Society of Authors project aimed at Listing the gaps in European translation (i.e. not just into English); see the 2012 list -- click on the names of the recommenders (who include Georges-Arthur Goldschmidt, Juan Goytisolo, Sofi Oksanen, and Adam Thirlwell) for their choices.
A fascinating project that certainly deserves more attention.
