The most recent addition to the complete review is my review of Mariama Bâ's classic So Long a Letter.
Recently re-issued (in the UK) in Heinemann's revived (on a very small scale) African Writers Series, it's nice to see that there are so many relatively recent online reviews of this. (But, damn, this thing could really use a new translation -- I'm not surprised that I can't find any indication that anyone ever let Modupé Bodé-Thomas ever translate anything else again; this seems to be her only credit.)
