Prize shortlists: Man Asian Literary Prize

       They've announced the seven-title strong shortlist for the Man Asian Literary Prize, with the winner to be announced 15 March.
       Two of the titles are under review at the complete review:

• Please Look After Mom by Shin Kyung-sook
• The Lake by Yoshimoto Banana

       I am a bit surprised about two of the longlisted titles not making the shortlist-cut: The Colonel by Mahmoud Dowlatabadi and 1Q84 by Murakami Haruki.
