The PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature runs 4 to 10 May in New York City this year, and the schedule has now been posted.
The theme of the festival is: 'On Africa', and there are certainly quite a few events that should be of interest.
Pretty neat, too: Opening Night: The Future is Now, where: "a diverse group of writers presents scenarios for where the world may be in the year 2050". Diverse and heavy-weight, beginning with Tom Stoppard and Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o
I'll be on a panel, too -- Who We Talk About When We Talk About Translation: The Bloggers (please note: this is the first I heard of the title ...).
