(I can't help but note one of my pet peeves here: this is a book prize, so it should be the book that is spotlighted: 'Debut novelist and best-selling writer scoop oldest book awards' and 'Zia Haider Rahman, fiction winner' misplace the emphasis on the author. Who cares who the author is ? It is the book that counts, and the book that should be honored.)
