The British Council in Burma (Myanmar) has been working one their Hidden Words, Hidden Worlds project for a while now and have now published, locally, an anthology collecting:

28 original short stories, 21 in Burmese translation, in 11 different languages and 10 distinct scripts.There are also plans to publish an English translation, which would be great: there's far too little Burmese writing available in English, and even less from the other local languages.
