Argentine book import restrictions

       There's been a lot about this in the Spanish-language media, but little so far in English, but now at the Financial Times' beyondbrics weblog Jude Webber reports on the nutty new Argentina: import restrictions on books -- a situation that has led to:
Meanwhile, foreign books and language textbooks are already reportedly missing in stores. The policy looks like a plot straight out of Borges. But it's not.
       Really, what are they thinking ? Economically, literarily -- it just doesn't make any sense.
