Roadside Picnic review

The most recent addition to the complete review is my review of the new translation (by Olena Bormashenko) of Arkady and Boris Strugatsky's classic, Roadside Picnic, that Chicago Review Press is bringing out.
The basis for Andrei Tarkovsky's film, Stalker -- which has been getting more attention again recently because of Geoff Dyer's Zona (review forthcoming, once I get my hands on a copy of the book ...) -- Roadside Picnic deserves more attention too. And there are a whole lot of still-to-be-translated Strugatsky-works out there (as well as a few that should be re-issued -- not much in print at the moment ...).
