A recent poll by the Gilani Research Foundation put Amjad Islam Amjad as the most popular Pakistani author, followed by Ashfaq Ahmed and Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi.No doubt you expected nothing different, right ? (Just kidding -- in fact, outside the sub-continent it would be fairly astonishing if you had ever heard of any of these writers.)
